Pressurised system lack of pressure

I'm hoping someone knowledgeable can help me here 🙏

As part of a renovation we had a pressurised water system put in. When this was installed it turned our sad shower into a pretty good shower and blew a join in it.

However our new shower has disappointing pressure and our bath fills slowly (note this shower wasn't in use prior to the blown valve so I don't know its pressure beforehand). When running the shower we can run a tap but get a noticeable drop in pressure on the tap. I've been thinking about it and it just doesn't seem right?

Other factor - water softener was turned on after the blown valve also.

Any thoughts appreciated

Mains fed or tank fed system?

@NonmagicMike mains fed, with a vented tank (I think that's what it's called)
