I have an underground rain water storage tank in my garden.
I put a new pump in recently and have set the plug up with my wifi so that the pump is not on when I don’t need the water for the garden or Kärcher.
There is a metal hinged hatch over the tank but no closure to keep it secure (dog tries to lift it as well and scared she falls in) so the previous owners put an heavy metal lid over it. It’s heavy and difficult to move if the wifi isn’t working.
There is a hole about 5cm from the edge where I would like to put something like this. But the tongue is only 4.5cm long and I can’t find anything with a longer tongue. I would probably need about 8cm for it to be closed.
Does anyone have any ideas of what might work or is it possible to get longer tongues with these T handles.
