Anyone know if Howdens give builder’s discount on quartz worktops too?

Ordered my new Howdens kitchen which our builder has very kindly passed on the full discount. Need to choose quartz worktop now and thinking if Howdens also give builder’s discount on this too, in which case will concentrate on what quartz they offer? . If not, then I can widen my search to other companies/suppliers. Hope that all makes sense.

Howdens is a trade only supplier so I’m not sure what you mean?

Our builder has a trade account with Howdens.

From memory they don't- we used our carpenters trade discount for our kitchen and ended up getting our quartz worktop elsewhere.

Thanks. This is what I was wondering. Seen a quartz worktop at another kitchen showroom that I love. Not sure why I just don’t ask Howdens to be honest!

Yes this is what I am finding. I do like the idea of buying everything from one company for ease etc but I guess cos Howdens just outsource the quartz it will be no different to going to another supplier.

Howdens directed us to independent suppliers, so no discount through Howdens.

We did get a great discount on the kitchen through the builder tho. I seemed to say ‘i don't want it to be that much’ and they reduced it!

We are very happy with the price we are paying. 2nd Howdens kitchen we have
bought.
