What colour sofas

Hi, so I have white walls and marble floor grey in living room. Im stuck as I don't know what colour sofas to go for.

They will be leather material, but don't know whether to go light or dark.

Pls can you share suggestions.

If you weren't wanting leather I'd go for the pink that's in jewel colours!

im not sure about coloured leather.

I feel all those smooth shiny textures might make the space very cold. I know you said leather but would go for velvet in warm tones.

I'd go dark but I would have a chair or rug or cushions in soft materials in a colour otherwise - it sounds a bit Spanish holiday rental ( my apologies - other opinions available ) . It could look very chic - or it could look cold - only you will know. I would - just my opinion - cosy it up a bit , so curtains , rugs , occasional chair , throws , curtains etc.

If it’s leather I’d not do colour or shiny to be honest. I’d do something natural like nubuck or raw leather, in a natural colour. It’s much more elegant and timeless.

I'd want a warm coloured fabric sofa/sofas and to cover up as much of that cold, shiny floor with a huge colourful rug if it were me. But as the white and marble are obviously your choices, if you must have leather I'd go for something that was neither brown, black, cream or white.

Warm white or biscuit with textures on the sofa.
A jewell coloured single chair or two.
Some warm metalic colours in the cushions too.

Maybe a black leather.

I always think leather sofas don't look right if they're not brown (my preference being tan). Can always add colour to the room with plants, rug, cushions etc...
