Amtico spacia flooring …barnwood or tick finish?

Hello..any advice or whether to go for tick or barnwood finish? I think I like the grooves of barnwood but am wondering how difficult it will be to keep clean with food and debris getting stuck in the grooves. Tick looks more hygienic but a bit less realistic? Any one have any insights?

Did you go for barnwood or tick finish? Just wondering what you decided on and if you have any advice as I’m trying to choose.

We went with tick in the end. The thought of food debris getting stuck in the grooves put me off. It’s been down 2 months and so far so good…easy to clean. There is still some texture to tick but not as pronounced as the barnwood grooves.

Should have said it was for kitchen diner…if it had been a less food oriented room I might have gone with Barnwood

That is good to know - thank you. I have gone for the ‘Tick’ finish as ours is also for a kitchen diner, and I too was worried about the cleaning aspect. I have gone for Featured Oak in the LTV glue down. It’s going down tomorrow!
