In support of OP I am looking for something similar to put into our holiday let. We have a very large living room and snug in a house that sleeps up to 16 people. The home bar might not be something people want in their actual 'home' but in a large holiday let that people are renting to spend time with friends and family and for celebrations it is the type of additional extra that people will enjoy having.

I also think if you have space to spare in your own home then why not? go the full fifties house-wife and start mixing cocktails for the 5pm happy hour.

Ah I am totally going for naff and don’t care a massive deal what people say - I have a party room in my house and plan on doing a lot of entertaining for fam and friends 😂

My utility room is currently being turned into a bar. Kind of like this.

My friend has a home bar and it's great we've had some brilliant nights dancing away in there! We have an outside bar and depending on the weather we will either start at ours and if it rains (Manchester 😂) we will then go to my friends ( live on same street) and continue there! Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if it makes you happy 😃 go for it!

If people talk behind your back then their not friends! Sod them! We're not 10 in the playground anymore you do what makes you happy- I don't care if people talk about me having an outside bar - I just think of all th good times with my friends I've had there 👍
