For me it would be a state of the art home gym and I would get my PT to come to me rather than me go to her at 6am.

Next thing I would love is a private chef .

An en-suite and a library room for me. 😁

DustyLee123 · 09/10/2023 07:30

I’d turn my garage into a gym and have a PT.
Then I’d have a loft conversion with a master suite up there.

PuttingDownRoots · 09/10/2023 07:38

Dedicated lego room, with bricks sorted by colour and size plus display shelves.

A slide connecting floors.

CesareBorgia · 09/10/2023 07:38

A swimming pool. & someone to maintain it.

PuttingDownRoots · 09/10/2023 07:39

Oh and a secret library, preferably circular in a tower, with ladders on rails.

Mogloveseggs · 09/10/2023 07:39

I'd need a new home to fit it in but a grand piano. And a Lego room!

Netcam · 09/10/2023 07:39

Solar panels and battery

ferntwist · 09/10/2023 07:42

A music room for the piano and listening to podcasts and stereo (beatbox)/ radio and/or curling up with a book

PrinnyPree · 09/10/2023 08:32

An art studio with room for standing easels, my drawing table and my computer desk for digital art! Pref with mini kitchen and seperate loo if its an outbuilding. A good view would be a bonus too.

For the rest of the house, an ensuite, a downstairs loo, an open plan kitchen diner that opened out to a lovely private south facing garden, with a willow tree and a big climbing frame/treehouse at the back for my DC.

Big bedrooms where I don't have to walk sideways round my bed and can open my wardrobe door comfortably.

I really should buy a lottery ticket so I can have a little daydream for a week.....

A craft room, big enough for a huge cutting uot table with shelves below. Racks or shelves for my boxes of stuff, table beside the (very large)window for the light for my sewing machine to be permanently set up and my overlocker on another.
None of this clear table, get machine out, use it, put back in box get overlocker out, use it, put back in box, swap for sewing machine again etc etc Would love to move from one to the other!

IaltagDhubh · 09/10/2023 09:51

A laundry room. Big enough for washer, dryer, storage for hoover, ironing board and cleaning stuff. A big double utility sink. And lots of space for those drying racks that are on a pulley. So it would also need a high ceiling and velux windows that open and close with a remote control.

Maddy70 · 09/10/2023 09:58

Indoor patio with a pool and mood lighting. E suites for every bathroom (complete with a bidet)

LovesFood1987 · 09/10/2023 10:01

Solar panels and battery storage
Stables and field

sorrynotathome · 09/10/2023 10:05

Library, coffee shop & rose garden. Perfect insulation and solar panels all round. Sun trap balcony (tricky on a bungalow!) & views.

AbacusAvocado · 09/10/2023 10:11

Helter skelter from top floor to downstairs.

Trampoline room - bill gates has one, it’s a double height room where the walls are padded and the entire floor of the room is a huge trampoline.

Swimming pool.

Silkiebunny · 09/10/2023 10:12

Indoor 25 metre swimming pool with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room

Basilthymerosemary · 09/10/2023 10:13

A beautiful upstairs laundry room. I don't understand why they are downstairs when you have to cart everything back up?!

Rattyname · 09/10/2023 10:14

A library. And a second kitchen for things like making pasta and pastry without getting flour all over the kitchen we sit and eat in

Because the garden is downstairs, where I hang my washing out.

Karmatime · 09/10/2023 10:39

Laundry room for me too, with at least 2 big pulley drying racks, space for the ironing board to be up all the time and big cupboards for storing linen.
Mine would be downstairs, just off the door to a gorgeous south facing garden.
I’d also love a walk in wardrobe/dressing room.
I have a laundry cupboard, just big enough for a washer & tumble dryer, fitted wardrobes that have a tendency to get damp and a small east facing patio!

Twiglets1 · 09/10/2023 10:57

A library with squishy velvet sofas and a Labrador that I didn’t have to walk on rainy days because this is just a fantasy

garlictwist · 09/10/2023 11:00

I would love a roof terrace - constant sun no matter then time of day.

Butterkist8 · 09/10/2023 11:14

One of those glass houses/orangery type things attached to the house with beautiful patterned tile flooring where I'd grow orchids and other exotic plants.

DaisysChains · 09/10/2023 11:24

Swimming pool

ReadyForPumpkins · 09/10/2023 11:30

A larger garden with neighbours further away. A home gym. More living rooms. A gardener, a house keeper, chef.
