Family friendly areas in Manchester

Hello,
Can anyone suggest a safe, nice family friendly areas in Manchester? My husband and I are moving to Manchester in Dec. I am 4 months pregnant.

I am looking for an budget friendly area easily accessible to city centre and has good hospital. I am on tight budget (max 1200 gbp per month) for mi. 2bhk as of now because my husband will have to find a job after moving there.
Any information will be appreciated.

Stretford? On the tram line, served by 3 hospitals (Trafford general, MRI, Wythenshawe), 20 mins to town?

Yes. It's because rents in cities, especially the ok bits, are very expensive. You wouldn't get a 2bed 2bath house in a nice part of London for 1200 a month, would you?

You could probably get a 2 bed 2 bath flat....

You might get a bigger house but in a rough area. Stretford is not posh, but you won't get drug dealers sat outside your home either....

Most 2/3 bedroom houses have one bathroom only. I'm guessing you're not from the UK originally but it's very standard. Bigger houses generally have more than one toilet.
