Plumbing on moving day

May well be a stupid question but who plumbs in dishwashers/washing machines on moving in day? Or should I arrange for a plumber to come once I'm in? I had new ones last time I moved and John Lewis did them so I'm a bit clueless with this.

Is the existing plumbing there already and it's a case of connecting them? In this case, you'd do it yourself, it's super simple. Did you disconnect them at your end? Or could you get the removalpeople to show you?

or failing that get a plumber they’ll be happy to oblige it’ll be the easiest money they’ll earn
