I did a screenshot and a Google search but nothing even similar came up.
Just bumping as I’m intrigued.

Could they be a weevil of some kind?

google vine weevil. Are they near any planting?Pots Etc?

Trickofthetrade · 04/10/2023 22:38

Me too . Not a clue what they are. Sprayed them off but have been itching ever since , just thinking about them. Irs a rendered outside wall. No damp or anything.

I also thought type of weevil. Horrible things. I think there are insects who feed on plaster like materials. Better get it checked out. Maybe contact some pest control firm.

Viviennemary · 04/10/2023 22:41

Looked it up. I think they might be plaster beetles.

Trickofthetrade · 04/10/2023 22:45

Yes I did wonder about weevils, but seems strange they are on the wall ( old brick wall , rendered and painted a couple of years ago) , and not any plants in the vicinity.

Are you in the UK OP? Coastal? Rural near farms or woodland? More info might help!

Trickofthetrade · 04/10/2023 22:51

Sorry, yes ....more info. UK . East Anglia. About 2 miles from coast. Live in village, but woodland nearby. We do have some lavender growing below the wall actually. A couple of plants .

Yes they are - they're small but not microscopic.

Unfortunately I can confirm bed bugs are visible to the naked eye 😖😖

KievLoverTwo · 05/10/2023 00:12

@MissLucyEyelesbarrow @IslandAngle oh gross, I stand corrected. At least the buggers can be seen.

IslandAngle · 05/10/2023 00:17

@KievLoverTwo Yes, just hope you never see the hideous things!
I still freak when I see fluff 😟😱

KievLoverTwo · 05/10/2023 00:22

@IslandAngle I sense trauma

I like that you're finding a silver lining there 😀

Is it possible they are Western conifer seed bugs? We had one appear through a window two days ago, and just now, one turned up again! Quite safe! They look for warmth in houses.

I think you're thinking of bed / dust mites. They are too small to see and do no harm at all.

Don't think so , these are very small , only about 2mm ea. Those are bigger . But thank you !
