We've recently moved house and the conservatory is quite old, and could do with better insulation (baking in summer, and getting chilly now). We don't really have the budget to replace the roof, or the whole thing, and I'm wary of anything that could involve planning permission or building regs, as we're hoping to sell again in 5 years or so. I'm also loath to block the light coming into the kitchen any more than it already is.
Somebody mentioned conservatory roof film to us, and I've been seeing ads on Facebook for this company ever since: Envirofilms - Conservatory Roof, Window Film.
Has anyone used them, or a similar company? Does it help? Was it expensive? I'm thinking it could be an option for us. The conservatory is our dining room, so we use it every day, and there's a radiator in it.
