Nice non-flat switches and sockets

We’re getting some electrical work done soon and want to update our plug sockets and light switches at the same time.

I had my heart set on some corston ones but the electrician says they only really look good on newly plastered walls as they need to be flat flat flat. It’s a Victorian house, but the sockets are mainly in plasterboard walls.

Anyway, I wondered if anyone knew of any non-flat sockets and switches that have a similar vibe. I’m after an antique brass finish, nothing too shiny or plasticky looking.

These are quite high already on my maybe list - my main concern is how shiny they look in some of the pictures.

Currently crumbling under the pressure of picking the right ones - if I get it wrong I’ll be annoyed looking at them for years 😂
