Is it just me or have they seriously gone wrong with this period home....at least it doesn't appear to be that new. Urgh

I’m not a fan of wooden beams, especially in a room with a lighter wood floor. It seems to be a mish-mash of styles.

I’m not sure what the issue is either? It’s a bit dull maybe but not offensive and seems to be in a lovely location.

Absolutely not mine. I just think the new doors and the wardrobes for starters are awful In that home. As for the fireplace... though that may have been there a while.

Yes, I think you're having an off day.

It's not beautifully decorated but like a pp mentioned, it's not offensive, and it is someone's home (I hope they never see your post)

Nothing offensive. I’d just say the owners are a bit older as the style is a little dated.

It's just the modern doors everywhere stick out.
.for me anyway. But each to their own I guess. We all love a bit of property on here I think.

I rather like it. Some of it looks a little tired but the big plot and being a stone’s throw from the beach is the selling point I guess.

It definitely has potential (way out of my area and budget sadly).

DM’s house is a very similar design (not next to a beach sadly) - built 1986.

It looks fine for a 40 year old house to me.

Yes, was going to say this! That is just an 80s house pretending! Not very well either. Beam isn’t supporting anything and parquet flooring isn’t from the same period. You can see from the outside it’s not period in any way?
