New Build Planning Discharge

Hi all,

Quick question, can a new-build developer "complete" construction and leave site without discharging all Planning Conditions? or would they be forced to discharge all conditions by the council?

It very much depends on the conditions. Not all conditions require official discharge if they are more to be held in compliance. The problem with conditions without a timescale or specific target is often if not dealt with, the builder could claim that they haven't finished yet even though it is obvious to everyone that they have.
