Has anyone installed one DIY in a kitchen. Is it easy?

We installed one of the IKEA ones behind our electric hob. Easy enough with some adhesive, cut to size with a saw.

I bought one from DIY Splashbacks but asked a Handyman to fit it… it seemed pretty straightforward but I just didn’t trust myself!
we get lots of comments on it, would recommend
