Currently living in Watford and wanting to move somewhere to give us more space, less traffic and a more pleasant place to bring up children (have a 2 year old and would like to have more). We live in a small terraced house and could get a lot more elsewhere. We can’t go too far due to partners work. I only need to travel to London for work once or twice a week so I’m not worried about commuting or being close to a station I would drive and park at the station if needed
we are thinking Welwyn Garden City as it’s not too far and we could afford a 3 bed semi (we couldn’t in Watford)
my main concern is schools. I hear there’s bad ones are they really that bad!? I really want to move but if I risk a bad school for my girl I couldn’t live with myself!
if I find somewhere near a good school would she get in? I guess my question is are the schools oversubscribed?
