Cost of EICR

wondering if anyone has recently had an EICR electrical survey done? The first electrician I spoke to about it is able to squeeze me in tomorrow, he has quoted £360 inc vat for. 4 bed detached bungalow (15 circuits) but I haven’t had to chance to get other quotes so don’t want to be ripped off! Does this sound ok? Thanks 😊

Yes, that sounds like an extremely good price.

We've had one on mine which I'm selling and one on the place we are buying. So for a small 3 bed semi was £169 and for a larger 3 bed semi £216. The company I used gave online quotes which they stuck to. These are in the north west, I'd imagine there'll be some regional variation.

I paid £140 in September for 4-bed 2-bath flat (and £80 for PAT of 15 items).

It took 2 hours and he walked off with £220.

Also something to consider that price is usually just the EICR, if the electrician finds any Code 1 faults they will need to be rectified there and then which may add to the cost
