Releasing equity

I have a buy to let mortgage, on a property that I rent out. Can you release equity on these properties?

No. We've just looked in to this for my mother, it's only available on your main residence.

Do you have a mortgage on the property? You could mortgage it, or increase the mortgage, subject to the reasons you want to and your individual circumstances etc- a broker can talk this through with you?
