I'm getting my garden made over, and am getting rid of the existing patio. Beyond knowing I don't want the same or similar again, I don't really know what to go for?

In my previous house, I had dark blue slate type tiles which I did like, but which marked easily. Any suggestions are welcome :). Thank you.

These are ours. Indian sandstone I think, with granite paver edging. Sorry taken from the contractors IG video so maybe not the best quality but we love them.

Bit different but Google stencilled tiles. We have cheap grey concrete tiles and stencilled them. Two years later and they still look great. The stencils were £80 but worth paying for decent ones.

Both of your patios look fab but I'm especially drawn to the idea of stencilled tiles. Never heard of them before so will definitely look into them.
