Bath removal retain shower

Our house has a really good shower which is housed behind the tiles. It is an over bath shower. We want to remove the bath, add a shower tray and screen, finish floor and tile where the bath was.

Sounds straightforward on paper, but has anyone got any experience of this? Is it possible to DIY or would professionals be advised? Any pitfalls for a DIY job?

Thanks

Fairly easy to do if you are competent with plumbing etc ...... if you are thinking of moving in the future think of resale if it's a family property as a lot of families like a bath when they have younger kids.

Thanks. I think the plumbing would just be sorting out the taps and waste from the bath as the shower is already fitted.

Hopefully the floor should be OK for a shower tray to go in
