Just wondering if any of you lovely people have had any reviews of this air conditioner - Powrmatic - non H2o version - it doesn't have the big ugly condensating unit on the external wall. Tia xx

It does require a couple of six and a half inch holes, and a further one inch hole though. The ones with the external condenser don't need massive holes drilled and the units are quieter on the outside.

Hey 👋 thanks for helping.
Do you have one or have used one ?

I have a free standing one, but it spends most of its energy dehumidifying and not reducing the temperature. I dangle the exhaust hose out the window, but it has to replace the expelled air somehow, so it pulls warm moist air back into the room.

That's why the split ones are better as they dehumidify and cool the air in the room without needing to replace it, so are much more efficient.

I've been looking to upgrade mine with one but have yet to decide which make. It will be a split one though.

Interesting. I didn’t know these existed. I found this thread on MSE which is quite useful.

As a poster on there says, these are basically like a mobile a/c unit but with the hoses permanently installed through the wall rather than out of a window.

Powrmatic Air Conditioner?

Has anyone ever come across this company before or ever encountered the below air conditioner?

Thank you 🥰 I found this too, seems to be the only thread about them in the whole internet xx

I have a split air conditioner, and I had thought about what type to buy, but I’m happy with the one I have. I just wish the bill wasn’t so high… I live in Greece… People don’t run their AC units very often, just a couple of hours a day on very hot days
