Need some advice please if anyone can help. The housing association solicitors who we are buying our house from have said if our solicitor doesn't have a date for completion in the next 2 days they will cancel the sale 😭 Tried unsuccessfully to reach him but only found out this afternoon. I plan to go to his office tomorrow morning and stay there til I have some answers. Everything is signed and ready to go.
The advice I want is that our solicitor had told us us previously that he was gonna do something to makes sure they can't back out of sale. I cant remember what it was he was talking about doing to make sure they can't back out but would anyone know what he meant and if it still stands. Gonna be a long night 😔 Housing association have said they contacted him last Monday and nothing back.

When did you put your application in? In my experience as a RTB administrator, we had to get sales completed within a year if application as the valuation expires after a year.

There have been a lot of delays but our housing association have been fantastic.
