Chatsworth- is this brand of shower any good?

Another bathroom thread.

I’ve searched and can see which brands are recommended but not much on Chatsworth, sold through Victorian Plumbing. anyone have any views on this brand’s reliability?

My excellent plumber had recommended Mira for the shower but I can’t see that they do a brushed or satin brass finish.

I don’t want an overhead waterfall fixed thingy.

I really want the pipes under the tiles so I can locate the shower controls at the entrance to the shower enclosure. I’ve read lots of threads that suggest not to do this as any problems results in removal of tiles.

do I go practical (Mira brushed nickel, exposed) or pretty (brushed brass, hidden pipes)?

toilet will be a wall hung gerberit.

any thoughts?

we went with Crosswater from Tap Warehouse .

Verdict: we’ve only been using it for the last two weeks (Reno took longer than planned 🤪). It’s a thing of beauty. But the shower head is way too heavy and it looks like a wilted sunflower. The hosepipe bit has actually creased because the head is so oversized.

The valve / taps bit seems fine. Plumbers didn’t complain about installation and they were happy to moan about anything that was an issue 🤣

Ive added a photo but I can’t take a decent photo of the bathroom - the colours don’t come through at all. The colour really is beautiful.
