i feel like the dumbest person on earth. i thought its cheap laminate so decided to give the living room a facelift. the seller of the house didnt say anything about the floor. the surveyor has put laminate in the survey. even the guy brought in to do the bedroom flooring says its laminate as it has all the flaws of a badly laid laminate floor - getting bouncy in the middle as the click has not been done right.
the flooring company (a different one to bedroom) started today. i was so surprised by the care they took to take out the old flooring. then they said its very good wood and by the look of it they will reuse it.
and here i am spending a fortune taking it out and replacing it with cheap wood alike lvt....
sorry just need to rant.
