I've just seen a house there that I really like, is it a nice place to live? Good schools? I have an 18 month old. 🙏

A lot of poverty and a bit rough in that area but Workington does have most of the facilities you need. Maybe someone else can comment on schools - but probably mixed at best. It rains a lot. It's cheap, relatively speaking.

Stainburn is definitely the posh area on the outskirts of Workington. Lots of people send their children to village schools nearer to Cockermouth, and then to Cockermouth or Keswick for secondary.

Hmm doesn't sound too good... need to do some research!

Cockermouth or Whitehaven are much nicer.
