Crackle glazed tiles in bathroom- will this be a nightmare?

After searching for ages I've finally found a tile that I love for my bathroom renovation, but it's crackle glazed and I keep reading very different things about how suitable they are for wet areas. In one place I'm reading avoid at all costs, and in another that they'll be fine as long as they're sealed properly, can anyone advise? TIA

Love, love, love Crackle Glazed tiles, but I was put off using them by the company that did our bathroom.

If you take care of them well enough they can be okay in a bathroom, but this means using specific cleaning products, being careful about your grout and making sure they're well sealed.

On balance, I just didn't think they were practical.

We have them in our bathroom (including our shower enclosure) and they are absolutely fine. I used this sealer after installing them about three years ago, and they've stayed totally waterproof ever since.
