Exterior house paint - quote

Just wondering if anyone had paint the exterior of their house and would mind charing the costs.

It's a 3 bed semi detached but pebbledash.
I'm a bit afraid of asking for a quote as I was expecting £2.5k 🤔but i saw somewhere someone recently being charged 1.5k just for the front 😭

I did ours ( a detached). It was also roughcast, which is rougher and a bit more demanding to do than pebbledash. Took a while, and I had scaff put up for the (very tall) upper storey which cost about 1K but it was also shifted up to the roofline later for a roofer to use to reslate as well.
I used a big soft brush (and worse a few out). It's messy to do, but doesn't require great skill, just masking tape and time. The paint is expensive, and it's not worth using any but the best, e.g., Dulux Trade Weathershield or similar quality.

Had two quotes for painting pebbledash, 3 bed semi detached and both quotes were £1.2k for just labour and the materials will be on top - neither knew how paint would be needed until it’s done as it hasn’t been painted before and some pebbledash absorbs paint more than others!

Ours is a 3 bed semi with roughcast all over.

it was painted last year at a cost of £1,200. They jet washed it first and put some anti fungus stuff on too before the white paint.

we live in south east wales

I paid £600 this year to have my roughcast house painted at front and back. The painter supplied his own paint and used Dulux. It’s only a small two storey house so no scaffolding needed.

SE London. We’ve just paid £850 for the back and side of our pebbledash semi to be painted.

We are quite DIY (and the inside we painted ourselves) but afraid it's a too big job for us.

Victorian detached house just windows fascia doors etc not the walls, £5300.
