It almost looks as if it's been done to a) attract attention and b) distract from the house's dated features.

It looks like a house someone lived in a lot of years with the red sofa and 1960s wardrobe, strip light in kitchen, fireplace etc. And then someone has thrown pink paint everywhere they can. It doesn't look out together in the way a genuine lover of pink might.
