We have a rather dowdy 1970s house with dark brown felt tiles. Some are slipped, missing and generally look a bit tatty. I want to replace them with cladding but I'm not sure what I need to bear in mind.
How can I find out if it is permitted development? Should I contact the council? The property is only two storeys high.
