Rooflights

Hi, we were about to buy some rooflights for our extension but there is a manufacturing issue with the glass in the ones we chose (Roof light company).

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that do large rooflights (approx 3m x 1m) and also opening rooflights (approx 2m x 1m)? TIA 😁

Thanks @BlueMongoose Unfortunately we can't use Velux because our opening is too big. I'll look into the other option though (Fakro). Thanks!

just get the builders to trim the opening down to the size you can get off the shelf. It won't be a lot of work as they can patch in with OSB etc. Cheaper than getting a window specially made.

We have the Rooflight Company…. And be warned that they’re a pain in the arse because everything is a non-standard size so needs to be ordered from them or made bespoke. We had some work done our roof recently (a few years after they were fitted) and there was yet again something that was £££ because we’d gone for the fancy option.

I wish we’d made the window a standard size rather than listen to our architect!

Briefly wondered what roo flights were.

Is it for a flat or pitched roof? I have used eos rooflights on a number or projects and have love them on the higher end but good value. They should be able to do those sizes fine.

As @YouHoooo said, standard sizes are a game changer.
