Albany Park - Black family

Hi,
Having seen a couple of nice properties near Albany Park station and not far from Bexley station, we are about to offer on one of those (near Deniston Avenue).

Having always lived in the Southwark borough, I am not too familiar with the Albany Park and Bexley area.
Is this a nice and quiet area? Also, having been to the area a couple of times now, I don't see many minorities (it's not an issue). That isn't a problem but just wondering if the area is ok for a black family/black youngsters.

Many thanks

What sort of schools are you looking for? There's a fairly mixed population in Bexleyheath but not so much Bexley. Would you look any further out or do you need to be nearer to London?

Thank you. Schools isn't a concern for us, we have college/6th form children. It's more of the area in general, is it safe, quiet, etc?

And ok to move further out as long as it's commutable to London. What area do you recommend?

Thanks
