First time home buyer (considering HGS, East finchley, highgate, west hampstead)

I moved to London 2 years ago and has been living in central. We are looking to buy first home, budget 1.5-2M, considering HGS, East Finchley, highgate, west hampstead (love hampstead but our budget doesn't give us far). Anyone live in these areas ? I would love to hear about the local communities and schools. Our kids are mixed so looking for somewhere diverse and friendly

Hello, I realize this may be less relevant now, but if you are still looking, we live in HGS in the East Finchley boarder area. I would say it’s friendly and has a great community and state schools. It’s also green and safe. However, it’s less diverse than I’d like (I feel this often having grown up in a more diverse community myself). I’m happy to chat more through PM if it’s helpful.
