is this little space good for build in wardrobe? see picture

a Hat and coat stand can do the job, but a build in wardrobe looks neat?

Can’t see why not. You’d end up with a “wall” next to the spindles on the staircase but I don’t think that needs to be a problem. I’m sure there’s a way of making it look nice. Is it deep enough to build a cupboard as opposed to a “wardrobe” and have a clothes rail on wheels that you could put in sideways? And either access from the side (walk in?) or wheel out when you want to get to it.
