Hi all

does anyone know if it’s possible to get internal doors that are Crittall style and also fire rated? I’m having a nightmare trying to find some.

thanks!

If you're talking about the timber crittal style ones like the industrial range from LPD or Deanta, then no, they don't come in a fire door option I'm afraid.

This company do bespoke doors, including fire doors, in a Crittall / industrial style. I did get a quote some time ago (our plans have changed since then) and it was about £450 or thereabouts for a single fire-rated door in that style.

If you have the budget for steel rather than wood, Ministry of the Interior do fire-rated doors as a bespoke order.

I have a budget of £3k. I had a quote for steel doors from fabco which came back at £3.5k and not fire rated so I’m not optimistic. It seems like very few companies do fire rated internal doors.

I’ll check out the ministry of the interior, thank you!

Oh that’s a decent budget! Another company you could try is Drury Casement. We’re planning to use them for our external Crittall-style steel doors and they came up cheaper than Fabco. But I don’t know if they offer fire rated.

Thank you @MsShopper ive contacted drury casement! Truthfully the budget started at £2k but reality bit and I upped it… I haven’t yet found a single supplier who can meet £3k for double doors so I reckon I’ll have to just go slightly wider single door.
