NC for this. Long time contributed. Pom Bears get their washing darked on etc.

I’m in the process of applying for probate to sell my late parents house. Worth around 350000. Does anyone know roughly what the conveyancing fees might be please? Lincolnshire so not London prices.

Approx £650 for the legal fee itself but then you will have other expenses and disbursements

Thank you. What other expenses please and what are disbursements?

There may also be those bloody indemnity policies that solicitors seem to pull from their arses for every sale and purchase for random things like flying freeholds or some access right from 1875 that they aren’t sure of.

Think mine were just over £800 inclusive of disbursements

For a sale it's for things like, file opening fee, id checks, mortgage fee, electronic transfer fee, leasehold fee is applicable, Archive fee, office copies etc
