After 5 months our loft conversion is finished. Hooray!
The only thing left to do is sort the flooring. We’ve had a quote for 1k for the same woven type carpet we have on other stairs and landing. Instead I’d really like to paint the stairs up to the loft and put hard wood flooring upstairs but worried about sound travelling and warmth. Has anyone done this?
We might need to sell in a couple of years (DH’s job may move), would these non-carpet ideas be off putting to buyers for any reason?
