Hi everyone,
We currently have a granny annexe attached to our main home. It has a separate entrance and there is no internal connection from the main home to the annexe. The annexe has a kitchen and bathroom and a separate council tax.
I'm wondering how we go about rejoining the annexe, so it is part of the main home and no longer classed as an annexe?
Is it enough to knock an internal entrance through to the annexe, from our main house? Only we would be using it. I would prefer not to rip out the small kitchen, from an expense point of view, plus we are planning to use the space as a home office and a small adjacent kitchen would be handy.
Any advice will be much appreciated!
