Not sure if Im posting on the right topic but can anyone recommend any good quality duvet covers that have buttons to fasten it not poppers as they always break in the wash. Thanks.

Mine is from Primark. It's so comfortable and washes really well. I've got some with poppers and some with buttons, so check before you buy it.

I really like nexts waffle bedding. It has fabric covered buttons, feels really good quality and washes really well.

I've got some John Lewis stuff - their anyday series - which is great. But what is available changes frequently.

BlueMongoose · 08/09/2023 20:49

The most recent John Lewis stuff we got turned up with buttons. I hate 'em, but if you ike them, that's an option. They were the only lot doing the colour we wanted, so would have had to go with them even if I'd known.

BlueMongoose · 08/09/2023 20:49

(we've never had a popper break in the wash...)

Nik2879 · 08/09/2023 21:58

@BlueMongoose Not so much break as just stop clipping together after a few washes. Also I move a lot in the night and they always come open which does my head in.

If you have the budget, Piglet in Bed is glorious. And doesn't need ironing.

Peanutbutterandmarmalade64 · 08/09/2023 22:03

I have just bought some Catherine Lansfield from Next, beautiful and smooth percale type polycotton. Washes well so far, but needs a quick iron for super smooth feel. Button fastening on my set

Nonamenoplacetogo · 09/09/2023 06:57

I would also say Primark, bought some bedding for my son recently from there. I also rate Matalan for their 100% cotton bedding and they often have offers too

Soak & Sleep or Dusk if you want to spread out. 600 thread count cotton. Feels like silk on your skin.

My bamboo bedding has a zip, also has little ties inside so you can tie the duvet (i don't do this) think we brought first set amazon as was recommended to help with menopause and the hot flushes
