Had the worktop around the sink replaced yesterday because the previous one was a mess (long story). It’s not great - it’s slightly longer on the right hand side of the sink (like half a centimetre) and there are a few chips down the edge from cutting. Am I being too fussy? Would be a faff to get it redone… DH thinks it’s not worth the hassle.

That’s not satisfactory, get them back to sort it out

If you have paid someone to do that, get them back to do it properly

If water splashes where the chips are, the worktop material will absorb it and expand (they're just made of compressed wood chips) and eventually be ruined. Plus it's not up to the standard you would expect, it should be centred. Get them back!
