Built in 2003 😁
Not everyone's cup of tea, by a whole tea plantation, give or take, but obviously very well loved and cared for and it looks very welcoming. I find it oddly endearing. Sadly it's too far from work.

Wow! What a beautiful house.

[insert witty big cock joke here]

KievLoverTwo · 06/09/2023 14:49

No way do I have the patience to read all that!

It's a good to see difference between English and Irish listings though. Here, you would get 15 pics, room dimensions and if the kitchen has a DW.

Lovely house. It would almost be perfect if the neighbour was a bit further away.

BronwenFrideswide · 06/09/2023 15:01

Lovely house and an absolutely beautiful garden.

Mistressanne · 06/09/2023 15:04

Gosh. It’s beautiful in a craggy sort of way.

AmandaHoldensLips · 06/09/2023 15:07

That is FANTASTIC!!!

SuperCam · 06/09/2023 15:13

That is a cracking stream of consciousness description! I wondered where this paragraph was going:

”Additional noteworthy features of this exceptional property include the services of a professional landscaper who diligently maintains the pristine grounds and expertly tends to the grass within the estate, ensuring a carefree lifestyle for residents. Indulging in a rejuvenating bathing experience is effortless, thanks to the pressurized system that powers the showers throughout the house, guaranteeing comfort and pleasure.”

I love that it is on a website called 'daft'.

Lavendelulu · 06/09/2023 15:31

The description is funny, very daft indeed😂

It has pretty garden, just get the expanse of internal brickwork plastered. Do they sell more as individual building plots in Ireland as it appears to be an estate but the houses look quite different In style?

House number 2 is much more my style and while I like moody decor it appears they had a vat of blue grey paint to use up.

MenopauseSucks · 06/09/2023 15:40

Plus points in the kitchen for the Bialetti coffee maker on the hob & is that a Le Creuset casserole dish there as well???

DepartureLounge · 06/09/2023 17:46

The first house is fugly in the extreme though I do like the idea of a haven of slumber overlooking a verdant rear garden. I love the second house.

This isn't particularly typical of Irish house listings though. Sometimes they barely manage to tell you how many bedrooms there are and you never get a floorplan unless the vendor's scribbled it on the back of an envelope and the agent's thought to photograph it. Pics are often out of focus and indeterminate too. And no one ever ever mentions the wind turbines.

Couldn't agree less.

The first is absoloutly lovely where as the second looks dark, dingy and cramped and lacks any charm.

It's lovely! And what a lot of house for the price. I didn't read the description, just looked at the pictures.

I agree, the second house looks deeply depressing, the first one is lovely it has an excellent layout and with a few tweaks to update the decor it could be stunning, garden is lovely.
