We are relocating to London. Have found a flat near Victoria station in London. What’s the area like? It’s a lovely georgian building.

Busy! Lots of lost tourists, coaches, taxis, buses, people with suitcases, litter, noise and chaos. But you won’t be bored!

if you are south of Victoria towards Pimlico, that is a nice area. quiet and hard working.

My overriding memory of working there 32 years ago was it felt far more polluted than a lot of other parts of London. I think this is because it used to have a major bus station and taxi rank in the same small place (near my work) and a large coach station quite nearby, so there was a lot of choke inducing traffic going through a few, quite narrow roads. Of course, technology has changed and buses don't necessarily kick out a lot of horrible fuel these days.

I haven't been through it for a long time, so ask around. You might find the London subreddit on Reddit more useful than here for an up to date view.

It was always full of tourists with lots of suitcases. If the coach station is still there, that part may not have changed.
