If you didn't have kids, what would you want to live near?

For me it's a friendly community coffee shop, small corner shop in case I need emergency supplies and I can't use my car, and green space nearby (country park/countryside). Those are really my top three I can't compromise on, but what are yours/what am I missing?

I thought about walking proximity to a train station so I can commute to the nearest city, but I'm packing in being close to a city deliberately so maybe this one isn't so crucial!

A bus or train route to somewhere I like to visit on weekends.

Might be nice to be near the sea.

I’d like a front door that opens onto a small Parisian neighbourhood with a bistro, champagne bar, market and patisserie, and a back door that opens onto the north Norfolk coastline for swimming on tap.

In reality we have opted to live near a school, supermarket, playground and train station. Blah.

Somewhere with a friendly activity club so I can join in and meet people.
That would be a must have.
A would like, would be a second hand/ charity bookshop
