We've had planning permission for a house to be erected in our garden. The plans were drawn up by a local architect and he did all of the planning application for us.
After planning was approved, we then did a lot of research and decided to go with the company Dan Wood to build the house. This company manufactures prefabricated timber framed houses which are delivered to site on wagons and erected within a couple of weeks.
Because of the nature of the build, their architects have had to make changes to the house that was originally drawn up for us. Namely the width of the majority of the windows and the height of the roof. They also don't supply stone cladding that we originally had approval for, so the house will now just be white render.
We have to submit a minor changes application, but we're lost at how to go about it. We can't get an appointment or even a phonecall with a planning officer to discuss for a few weeks. Is there specific wording that you have to put, is there a way to write it that would make it more likely to be approved?
