Pax wardrobe as room divider

Has anyone done this? I’d be looking at using a couple for storage and to hide a wfh space in the bedroom. How did you anchor it and how easy was it to cover the back so it looked ok?

We've had a stud wall put up, and the Pax on one side of that, to create a separate area. The Pax is attached to the stud. I can't think how you could safely secure it otherwise.

Or you could get something like this instead but is quite expensive and a different look. It anchors onto the floor/ceiling and you can have a desk that projects off one side and shelving or drawers on the other. www.vitsoe.com/gb/606

Sorry, I think it would look like the wardrobe is in the middle of the room. You would need something behind it.

We’re hoping to use a company called Vestium Interiors to ‘Pax hack’ new fitted wardrobes once our loft is built. They have done a Pax as room divider before, one with shelving on the other side. You can see examples here and here.

Thanks for the suggestions. The ceiling is pretty high which makes it more awkward (plus don’t have a big budget). This is the kind of thing I’ve seen on Pinterest but doesnt mean it’s achievable! A curtain seems like the other option.
