Suggest a light paint (not white) for cottage small-ish rooms?

I just bought a 1930s seaside cottage-type house. Some of the rooms are on a small side.

I was planning on getting some bright paint (think green and blue) but I think it would just make the rooms look smaller so I am back to square one...

I will still do the living room in Teal (F&B 'Vardo'), as it is the largest room, but can anyone suggest something light to use in the other rooms (kitchen/landing bedrooms) that is not a boring white but will still help make the room look a bit more spacious and might go well with teal paint?

The overall decor of the house is bohemian, informal style.

F&B Joa’s white is a nice warm colour

Primrose is a gorgeous light colour. We have our box room painted in it and love it.

School House White is a recommended pairing for paints with blue and green tones. Strong white is a complimntary white suggested by farrow and ball to work alongside Vardo. It's kind of a creamy grey doesn't feel dark at all.

Dulux do a range called Light & Space which supposedly makes rooms feel bigger. I have it in most rooms apart from kitchen/bathroom and it does seem to work. The one I chose is called Desert Wind, which also makes me laugh.

White Sand from Dunelm is lovely.
Beautiful paint to apply and very cheap.

The Dulux light and space is great. Look at the Nordic Spa colour, it's a light green that won't make the room dark at all.

School House White and Wimborne white are both really nice. Have you thought about blue or green woodwork? I'm thinking of doing my DSs room in a shade of white-ish on walls/ceiling and blue skirting boards
