Bedroom layout

Hi,

We want to completely change the principle bedroom and ensuite in our house. The current layout just doesn’t make sense and isn’t the best use of space.

who is the best person to hire to help us design the new layout (which may mean knocking down walls etc)?

do we need an architect or an interior designer or someone else?

Maybe a space planning software would work? You can build a layout and work on in yourself, there are tutorials and decor ideas on their website as well.

Thanks - I had wondered about that but kind of wanted the opinion of someone with expertise

Maybe see if there are any local interior designers who might take on a small project such as this? Possibly an initial consultation and basic layout wouldn't be too costly, and might be money well spent in order to get the layout right.
