Hiw long from mortgage offer to completion?

How long does it take until completion from mortgage offer? Private sale if that matters. Googled and its saying a few months but wondering about reality.

My daughter did it in three weeks from viewing, but the house was empty. She nagged everyone every day, didn’t wait for things to slide before reminding!

Ours took from Early April 22 to November 22

FTB buying from a couple going to rented so no chain.
Helped by the world's WORST solictors (who we didn't have to pay they were that bad!)

@Tumbler2121 that's impressive! So the searches/ conveyancer bit can't take that long then....

The shortest time I ever did it in was 2 months for a straightforward sale and purchase and with me phoning every few days to make sure everyone was on track. But it's normally longer, about 3-4 months if no complications.
