We have lived in Kingston upon Thames for the past five years and loved it, but now we have a DD (18 months) we are considering moving to Hampshire to enjoy the coast/countryside and slower place. I'm from Winchester originally which was a beautiful town to grow up in but it's now as expensive as London, so we aren't sure it will offer more in terms of house size etc. So my question is twofold:
-Firstly has anyone made a similar move and loved/regretted it?
-Are there any recommendations on areas? DH would commute to Bournemouth so we have added Romsey/Ashurst/Lymington/Ringwood to the mix although know little about them!
