Extension not finished for party

Hi guys! We’re currently having an extension done, it’s going to be two big garden rooms that combine into one, with 2 large roof lanterns and 3 sets of bifold doors.

It will be perfect for parties and we were going to have DD’s 4th birthday party in it (invites already gone out), but now it looks like the rooms won’t be done in time. We probably will have big gaps where the 3 sets of billfold doors will be, along with possibly missing roof lanterns.

Cant really move the party venue for several reasons and am worried about having party purely outside because of weather.

Is there anything we can do to make it habitable for the party? Ideally with access to the garden (we’ve got an outdoor bouncy castle and soft play if weather is ok.

Probably a long shot but otherwise I’m looking at a v expensive (probably less good) marquee

Is it waterproof ? I ie the extension - could this work - inside or outside depends how it can be put up.

When is the party? What month? We've just had a similar extension, including garden room, multiple large bifolds and lanterns so I can imagine the scene.

A large tarp over the open lantern and tethered down. This will at least provide protection from above. Can you get a massive roll of that extra thick, plastic. Use this as make-shift covers for the bifolds. Cut out an access door which is rolled up on the day. Its more coverage than a cheapy marquee. Are other rooms of the house finished off and could be used if needed?
