Likelihood of being able to re-board ceiling when there’s immovable furniture?

Just wondering if it’s possible to re board and plaster a ceiling when the room isn’t empty? We have a 250kg sliding wardrobe and a king size bed that can’t be dismantled. Any hope at all?!

I had the ceiling in my study replastered and repainted with a sofa and desk in the room, plus fitted shelving. They had no problem working around them. I think they shifted the sofa around a bit, but that was it. There will be a lot of mess though, so you need to ensure everything is covered, and make sure to remove all bedding and clothes, as the dust gets everywhere.
